Learn Proper Technique
There are many ways to learn Jiu Jitsu. The Compound teaches many effective styles of BJJ from body placement, to how you take down opponents bigger than you. as well as an assortment of submissions. We focus on to use your opponent's weight against them get yourself to a better position and attack. come learn the most efficient martial art on the planet!
Class Schedule
On a typical Monday/Friday evening we stretch and getting our body warm, we use Jiu Jitsu motions to start to get our heart rates up. Then, we go to technique and live partner work drills. Finish up class by testing your skills in a little competition and "roll" around against a few of your training partners!
Equipment To Bring
We do require you to wear a gi or uniform for this BJJ class. The Compound does have an array of "loaner" Gi's to experience class. But getting your own Gi is a great idea especially if you want to one day become a Black belt. We do have Grappling classes where Gi's are not required. Our Brazillian Jiu Jitsu sessions are technical, informative, and will get youn ready for competition or just to defend yourself. Also bring a bottle for water to fill up as many times as you want at the gym.
